New Delhi. Tata-owned Air India has introduced a new ‘menu’ for passengers to eat and drink on domestic flights amid the start of the festive season. Tata has said that it has specially prepared this menu for its domestic passengers. The new menu includes gourmet meals, pre-meal ‘appetizers’ and dessert main dishes. It depicts the local food items of India.
Passengers traveling in economy class in the aircraft will get Cheesy Mushroom Omelette, Dry Cumin Potato Wedges, Garlic Tossed Spinach and Corn for breakfast. Lunch will include Malabar Chicken Curry, Vegetable Fried Noodles for Mixed Vegetable Poriyal and High Tea (between 5-7 PM), Chili Chicken, Blueberry Vanilla Pastry and Coffee Truffle Slices.
All this will be for business class
The airline has said that business class passengers will get croissants, sugar free dark chocolate oatmeal muffin, cheese and truffle oil scrambled egg with chives, mustard cream coated chicken sausage for breakfast. Apart from this, potato parantha, medu vada and podi idli will also be served for breakfast. After this, fish curry, chicken, potato podimas will be given for lunch. High Tea will serve Chicken 65 and Grilled Sliced ​​Pesto Chicken Sandwiches.

Tata made the acquisition in 2021
The Government of India announced on 8 October 2021 that the Tata Group had won the bid for Air India. The Tata Group had made a bid of Rs 18,000 crore for the airline. After this, on 27 January 2022, after all the proceedings were completed, Air India once again came to the Tata Group.
