This new service provides priority check-in and priority baggage handling to economy class passengers. This service is designed for those passengers who want to save time but are not normally eligible for priority services.

The ‘ZipAhead’ service is available for passengers flying from 6 major airports in India.

- Hyderabad
- Chennai
- Bengaluru
- Kolkata
How much will you have to pay?
- If booked 6 hours before the flight: ₹499
- If booked within 6 hours of the flight: ₹699
Passengers can book this service up to 75 minutes before the flight. This facility is available through Air India’s website, mobile app, airport ticketing office (ATO) and customer care center.
They will get the service for free!
Platinum and Gold members of Air India’s Maharaja Club loyalty program can avail the ‘ZipAhead’ service without any additional charge, irrespective of the class or fare type they are traveling in.
