Actually, Indian airline company Air India, owned by Tata Group, will start direct flight service from Delhi to Zurich from June 16. With this, Zurich will become the seventh European city with Air India’s direct flight service from India.

The company said in a statement on Friday that flights will be operated 4 days a week… Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Boeing 787 aircraft will be used for the flight. There will be ‘economy’ and ‘business’ classes.

These, including 18,000 NRIs, will benefit.

Campbell Wilson, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Air India, said, “With more than 250 Swiss companies operating in India, hundreds of Indian companies in Switzerland and an NRI population of about 18,000, both these flats “Will meet the strong demand for business and tourism travel in the regions.”

The company operates 60 weekly flights to 6 cities of Europe.

Tel Aviv flights will remain closed till May 15.

It is noteworthy that amid the ongoing tension in West Asia, Air India has extended the suspension of its flights to Tel Aviv till May 15. The airline had said on April 19 that its flights to Tel Aviv would remain suspended till April 30. It operates 4 weekly flights between Delhi and Israeli city Tel Aviv.
