According to the information given on the official website of DGCA, three companies providing aircraft on rental basis, Sabarmati Aviation Leasing, Falgu Aviation Leasing and Wilmington Trust SP Services have applied to DGCA to cancel the registration of three aircraft of SpiceJet.
Company received NCLT notice
Significantly, earlier the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has issued a notice to SpiceJet, a company providing cheap air services in the country. The bankruptcy application process against the company will be heard on May 17. Two members of NCLT have ordered SpiceJet officials to be present on May 17 for the hearing of the insolvency process.
What did SpiceJet say on the matter?
On this matter, SpiceJet has issued a statement saying that out of these three aircraft, two aircraft have been standing for a long time. In such a situation, this application will not make any difference to the company. However, let us tell you that many aircraft of SpiceJet are not operating for one reason or the other. Due to this, the airlines are facing huge losses.
