If you are planning to go to Dubai in April, then this news is important for you. The Airport Authority has implemented new rules for passengers going to Dubai.
What things cannot be carried?
Passengers have to keep in mind that some items and medicines can no longer be kept in cabin bags or check-in baggage.
1. Narcotics and drugs
- Cocaine, heroin and opium
- Poppy seeds and dizziness medicines
2. Banned food and wildlife products
- Betel nut and some types of herbs
- Items made of ivory and rhino horn
- Three-layer fishing nets
3. Banned literature and artifacts
- Printed articles, oil paintings, photographs and books
- Stone sculptures
4. Other banned items
Fake currency and homemade food
Non-vegetarian food
If a passenger is found carrying these banned items, legal action can be taken against him.
Some things can be carried by paying money
During the Dubai trip, there are some products for which you will have to take permission in advance or pay a fee. These include:
- Plants, fertilizers and medicines
- Medical equipment and books
- Cosmetic products and personal care products
- Transmission and wireless devices
- Alcoholic drinks, e-cigarettes and electronic hookahs
Carrying these medicines is prohibited
Strict restrictions have also been imposed on some medicines. Passengers will no longer be allowed to carry these medicines with them.
