Airtel launches Rs. 1,699 prepaid mobile recharge plan with 1GB data per day, unlimited calls for 365 days

The new Airtel recharge plan is tipped to come with unlimited calling facility, data, and SMS benefits for a validity period of 365 days – a full year. The Airtel plan will go against Reliance Jio’s year plan.

Telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has reportedly come out with a new year-long prepaid recharge plan. The 365-day validity plan reportedly has been priced at Rs. 1,699. The new Airtel recharge plan is tipped to come with unlimited calling facility, data, and SMS benefits for a validity period of 365 days – a full year. The Bharti Airtel Rs. 1,699 plan will go against Reliance Jio’s one-year long term plan which has been priced at Rs. 1,699 as well. Bharti Airtel has not put any Fair Usage Policy (FUP) on its unlimited voice calling features like Reliance Jio. According to TelecomTalk Info, Airtel has confirmed to have launched the Rs. 1,699 plan in Himachal Pradesh circle and is slated to launch the same plan to other circles soon.



Bharti Airtel Rs. 1,699 Plan: Benefits, validity, and other features
The latest one-year validity pack by Bharti Airtel has been priced at Rs. 1,699. The benefits of the Rs. 1,699 recharge plan includes unlimited calling facility – local, roaming, and STD calls. Airtel has not put any FUP on their unlimited calling benefits. The other benefits include 1GB of daily data alongside 100 SMS text messages daily.

Other additional benefits include Airtel TV’s premium content which means users will be able to access premium content through Airtel TV app. Airtel has also stated that the Rs. 1,699 One Year plan is an open market one in select circles soon. This means Airtel users will be able to avail year-long benefits of 1GB daily data for Rs. 1,699 only.

Airtel – Rs. 1,699 plan with unlimited local, roaming and STD calls. Also comes with 1GB of daily data and 100 SMS messages daily.

BSNL – Rs. 1,312 plan with unlimited local, roaming, and STD calls (except Mumbai and Delhi). Also comes with 5GB of data and 1,000 SMS messages.



Other BSNL yearly plans include Rs. 1,699 and Rs. 2,099 recharge plans which come with a validity of 365 days. The Rs. 1,699 plan provides benefits of 2GB of daily data with FUP, post which speed will be reduced to 80kbps.

The Rs. 2,099 plan provides benefits of 4GB of daily data with FUP, post which speed will be reduced to 80kbps. Both these plans provide unlimited voice calling to any network in India, and 100 SMS messages per day and free PRBT for 365 days.

Reliance Jio – Rs. 1,699 plan which gets unlimited local, roaming, and STD calls (except Mumbai and Delhi). Also comes with 1.5GB of data and daily 100 SMS messages. Other benefits include complimentary subscriptions to Jio Apps.

Vodafone – Rs. 1,499 plan with unlimited local, roaming, and STD calls (no FUP). Also comes with 1GB of daily data and 100 SMS messages daily.

The Rs. 1,699-year long plan from Bharti Airtel and Vodafone provide the same benefits. BSNL’s Rs. 1,312 plan offers unlimited calling. Reliance Jio’s Rs. 1,699 plan offers the most with 1.5GB of daily data for a year which means Jio is offering a data benefit of 547.5GB as compared to 365GB of data in Airtel and Vodafone 365-day plans.
