Bharti Airtel seems to have discontinued its Rs 2,398 prepaid recharge plan. The plan offered 365 days validity and 1.5 GB daily high-speed data as well as unlimited voice calling. After the closure of the plan, the telecom company has only Rs 2,498 prepaid recharge plan coming with 365 days validity, unlimited voice calls and high speed data. Not only this, following the footsteps of Jio, Airtel has now launched a free data coupon to offer high speed data access up to 6 GB for its prepaid users.
As seen by OneTech, the Rs 2,398 Airtel prepaid recharge plan has now been removed from the Airtel site. The prepaid plan is also not available through any third-party recharge channel including Google Pay and Paytm.
Airtel introduced a Rs 2,398 recharge plan in December last year. This plan used to get unlimited voice calls and 100 free SMS for 365 days. Apart from this, users were also given 1.5 GB of high-speed data daily. However, this plan was overtaken by a prepaid plan of Rs 2,498, in which users get 2GB of high-speed data per day, unlimited voice calls and free 100 SMS for 365 days.

A My Coupons option will be added to the Airtel Thanks app, where all coupons received by users will be listed.
With prepaid recharge plans of Rs 219, Rs 249, Rs 279, Rs 298, Rs 349 and Rs 398, Airtel will now offer two coupons of 1 GB high-speed data and each of which has a validity of 28 days. Similarly, four 1GB coupons will be given on prepaid plans of Rs 399, Rs 449 and Rs 558, each with validity of 56 days. Finally, six coupons of 1 GB high-speed data will be available in prepaid plans of Rs 598 and Rs 698, each with validity of 84 days.
