The company has now started offering 500MB free daily data with the Rs 249 recharge plan of Rs. Through the Airtel Thanks app, users can redeem 0.5 GB or 500 MB of data daily. It is important to note that this special offer is valid only for this particular prepaid recharge plan. According to the report of TelecomTalk, this is not a new plan, but Airtel has added new benefits to the existing plan.
2GB data will be available daily
Airtel has retained all the benefits that the Rs 249 plan was offered earlier and has also added 500MB of free data. It is important to note here that 1.5GB free data per day was offered in this plan and now the daily total data limit has been increased to 2GB. Additionally, this plan also offers unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS per day along with Airtel Thanks benefits.
Airtel Rs 249 plan
The validity of Airtel’s Rs 249 plan is 28 days. In this plan 1.5GB data is available daily, that is, 42GB data is available for 28 days. Now the user gets 56GB data in this plan, that is, 2GB data per day.
How to redeem 500MB extra data
Users will have to recharge their Airtel SIM card with the Rs 249 pack to use the 500 MB additional free data. Then you have to download the Airtel Thanks app if you don’t already have it. Open airtel thanks app and select redeem free 500MB data option. Users will have to repeat this process of redeeming data every day for 28 days after the package.
