New Delhi, Tech Desk. Airtel is offering huge discount offers for its broadband users with Xstream Box. Broadband users are getting a discount of Rs 1,500 on the purchase of Xstream Box. However, the company has also put some terms and conditions for this. Airtel launched its Xstream Box in the Jio TV set top box challenge last year. Through this Android TV set-top box, users can make any of their LED or LCD TVs a smart TV. This set-top box comes with built-in Google Chromecast and Google Voice Assistance support. Also, this gives users the option to browse videos at a resolution of up to 4K.
Apart from broadband users, this Android set-top box will also be available for Airtel Thanks app users at an effective price of Rs 2,249. The price of this set-top box is Rs 3,639. The company is notifying its broadband users for this offer. For this, users will get notifications in the Airtel Thanks app. On buying a set-top box through this notification, users have to make a security deposit of Rs 1,500, which is later refundable. In such a situation, users are getting this Android smart set-top box at a low price of Rs 1,500.

Users who are getting this offer through notifications, have to pay only Rs 1,951 for this smart set-top box, with Rs 1,500 being taken as a security deposit. Apart from this, a monthly rental of Rs 451 will be taken from the users, in which users are being offered 129 channels as well as free ZEE5 subscription. That is, users can watch TV channels as well as their favorite web series and originals through the ZEE5 app.
Earlier too, Airtel had announced the One Airtel plan for its users in May. With this plan, the set-top box is being offered to users with a security deposit of Rs 1,500. However, this offer was available only with plans of Rs 800 and Rs 1,349. The company has challenged local broadband service providing ACT Fibernet in other metro cities of the country, including Delhi, offering 4K TV set-top boxes to its users.
