Indian Railways is increasing train services for the convenience of passengers. After the relaxation of restrictions by the states after the second wave of Kovid-19 (COVID-19), the railways has increased the number of trains. Passenger trains are being run along with express trains on a day-to-day basis. In this sequence, Northern Railway has decided to restore 2 pairs of trains. Northern Railway has given this information by tweeting.
For the convenient movement of rail passengers, Lucknow Jn. to Meerut Jn and Jhansi to Lucknow Jn. Trains have started operating between Passengers traveling by these trains will have to follow the corona protocol. According to the Northern Railway, it is mandatory to follow all the rules and all other precautions of the state and central government related to Kovid-19 including social distance and sanitization etc. on trains and railway stations.
01817/01818 Lucknow Jn-Meerut City Jn-Lucknow Jn.
Train No. 01817/01818 Lucknow Jn – Meerut City Jn – Lucknow Jn. Fully reserved Superfast Express is a special train. This train will run daily. 01817 Lucknow Jn. From date 18.08.2021 till further orders and 01818 Meerut City Jn. From 19.08.2021 every day till further orders.
01817 Lucknow Jn. Departure at 14.25 hrs and Meerut City Jn at 22.30 hrs. Will arrive. Whereas 01818 Meerut City Jn. It will depart at 06.40 hrs and will reach Lucknow at 15.05 hrs.
The stoppage of the train during the journey will be at Balamau Jn., Hardoi, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Rampur, Moradabad, Amroha and Hapur stations. This train will have 3 tier air conditioned, air conditioned chair car, chair car, second class (reserve) coaches.
01823 Jhansi-Lucknow Jn. one way reserved special train
Train number 01823 will leave from Jhansi on 17.08.2021. This is a one-way fully reserved special train. This train will leave Jhansi at 21.20 hrs and Unnao at 02.36 hrs and Lucknow Jn. Will reach at 04.20.
Train halts during the journey – Mustara, Parichha, Nandkhas, Erich Road, Ett Jn., Orai, Kalpi, Pukhrayan, Bhimsen Jn., Kanpur Central, Unnao and Lucknow Jn. is at the station. It will have 3 tier air conditioned, air conditioned chair car, chair car, second class (reserve) coaches.
