Yamuna Water Level in Delhi News: The water level of the Yamuna River in Delhi is continuously increasing. After releasing water from Hathinikund barrage in Haryana, the river is said to cross the danger mark in the coming days.
Yamuna’s water level has started rising in New Delhi capital Delhi. Due to heavy rains in the hill states, the water level in the river is continuously increasing. The state government is closely monitoring the situation. The water level in the river has reached 204.38 meters. There is a possibility that the water level of the river may cross the danger mark after releasing water from Hathinikund barrage in Haryana.
On increasing the water level in Yamuna, Minister Satyendra Jain said that his government is ready to deal with any situation. It is being told that Haryana released 5,883 cusecs of water from the Hathinikund barrage on Monday and that it can fill the low-lying areas in the next one or two days.

Jain said, our plan is ready
The water level in Yamuna is only slightly below the danger mark 205.33. Jain said, “We have a flood control system and we will activate it whenever necessary.” He said that the government has also made plans for people living in low-lying areas.
