NEW DELHI: Rajya Sabha member and former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh passed away in Singapore on Saturday. He was 64.
Singh was undergoing treatment in Singapore for kidney-related ailments over the past few months.
Singh’s long association with the SP came to end after he was expelled from the Akhilesh Yadav-led party in 2017. The party had earlier expelled Singh in 2010 but reinstated him after a few years.
