Amazon recently fixed a security bug found on its Amazon Kindle that will now keep hackers from stealing your information. The bug was initially spotted by Check Point Research, who then contacted the e-commerce giant.

The main area of concern with the Amazon Kindle was that anyone could publish and provide an e-book for free on the Kindle Store via self-publishing. Check Point also revealed that antiviruses do not work for eBooks which can help create a malicious eBook with correct execution code and give complete control to the hacker.
