Richmond, Ep. The anger of the people over the death of George Floyd in police custody in America is not being named. Protesters uprooted and set fire to Christopher Columbus’s statue in Richmond, US. After this the statue was thrown into the lake.

According to media reports, the protesters gathered at Bayard Park in the city and uprooted the statue after about two hours. NBC-12 reported that the protesters uprooted the statue with the help of several ropes at around 8.30 pm on Tuesday night. ‘Columbus is a symbol of genocide’ inscribed with a spray painting on the statue site. After this, it was set on fire and then the statue was thrown into a lake located in the park.
