According to the news of Bajfeed, the wrong name of Sundar Pichai was first mentioned by Senator Roger Wicker, chairman of the Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee. He called Sundar Pichai a beautiful pick-i and asked him to put his point before the committee. Senator Amy Klobuchar then referred to her as Sundar P-Che, though she later corrected her pronunciation and called Sundar Pichai by the correct name.
Then, Senator Marsha Blackburn, Senator Maria Cantwell and Senator Mike Lee also called her Sundar Pick-Eye. Most American lawmakers on this committee called Sundar Pichai the Sundar Pih-chai. Whereas, the Senators members correctly pronounced the names of Jack Dorsey and Mark Zuckerberg.
