Qualification may change
The minimum educational qualification required for this post is 10th pass. However, now there is a discussion going on to make some changes in this qualification. According to reports, now the minimum educational qualification of Anganwadi workers can be made necessary to be intermediate i.e. 12th pass. Apart from this, some other conditions have been kept. For example, for the post of Anganwadi worker, the candidate must be a resident of the concerned district. Minimum age should be 21 years and maximum 35 years. In Anganwadi recruitment, preference will be given to widows, abandoned and women candidates of families living below the poverty line.
