That means, if you use either of these two iPhones, you may be eligible for this price. Let us understand how this will happen and why. Actually, Apple has agreed to give compensation of 35 million dollars i.e. about Rs 290 crore to iPhone 7 users to settle a case filed in the American court. Users complained about the audio problem in these Apple iPhones.
However, the California-based tech company denied all allegations of wrongdoing and agreed to the settlement. The court did not rule against Apple or in favor of the other party, but the parties agreed to a $35 million settlement with certain criteria.

People who are residents of the US and have an Apple iPhone 7 or 7 Plus purchased between September 16, 2016 and January 3, 2023 may be eligible for this claim. The condition is that they will get this price only if the sound-speaker in their iPhone appears in Apple’s records as sound-. If the phone faces problems like microphone, sound receiver, automatic restart/shutdown, or power on – device unresponsive, then those users can claim this price.
According to the information, users who have iPhone models purchased any time between September 16, 2016 and January 3, 2023 are eligible to receive compensation.
Those who have filed a complaint with the company regarding audio problems and also paid Apple for repair or replacement will be eligible for a payment of up to $349 (Rs 29,071). However, those who reported the problem to Apple but did not pay for a repair or replacement can get up to $125 (Rs 10412). iPhone 7 users who qualify for the settlement can receive a minimum amount of $50. The thing to keep in mind is that the last date to claim the amount is June 3.
