Apple Arcade which will feature 100,000 groundbreaking games will be the world’s first subscription service for mobile, desktop, and living room.
The event kicked off at 10 a.m. PT and 10:30 p.m. IST at the Steve Jobs Theater on Apple’s campus in Cupertino, California, the iPhone and Apple Watch families gained some new additions.
Apple announced Apple Arcade in partnership with gaming giants Konami, Capcom and Annapurna Interactive. It will feature 100,000 groundbreaking games, and is being dubbed as “the world’s first subscription service for mobile, desktop, and living room.” It will launch on September 19 at $4.99 per month.
It also announced Apple TV+ in competition with Netflix. The first shows will be available on November 1, in over 100 countries at just $4.99 per month for the whole family, with new content added each month.
The new iPad, made of 100% recycled aluminium and a new iPad OS will be available at the end of September starting at $329.
The new Apple Watch Series 5 featuring Always-On display with LTPO (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide), 18-hour battery life, built-in compass, fall detection, emergency SOS and international emergency calling will be available form September 20. The price of the product ranges from $399 for GPS and $499 for Cellular models.
The tech giants announced the most awaited iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone Pro Max which replaced the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR. The iPhone 11 comes with an upgraded three-dimensionally-designed dual rear camera system, packed with new features including wide-angle capturing and an extended battery life.
The iPhone 11 Pro comes with an XDR 10 display, spatial audio sound. It also enables ‘pro photography’ where multiple images are combined to create a multidimensional single frame which is more vibrant and intense.
Apple also announced a ‘Trade-In’ that allows existing iPhone users to trade their current iPhones in for a discounted iPhone 11 model.
The event concluded with Tim Cook thanking everyone at Apple and the loyal and new customers who’ve watched the brand grow over the past years.

The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will be available in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB models starting at $999 and $1,099, respectively.

iPhone 11 Pro: The only iPhone to have its own native app system
iPhone 11 Pro, is the first time Apple has named a smartphone ‘Pro’ as it’s their most advanced design yet. Available in four colours with smooth matte body finish. The model comes with a fast-charge adapters and the battery lasts 4 hours longer than the iPhone XS.
The iPhone 11 Pro comes with an XDR 10 display, spatial audio sound. They call the whole boosted ensemble the Super Retina XDR Display.

New iPad to be available by September

Apple TV+ streaming service to launch on November 1
Tim Cook recalls the three trailers for exclusive originals Apple TV +, the brand’s own streaming service. The CEO has now revealed Jason Momoa-starrer series ‘See’. The series has also worked with visually-impaired cast and crew.
The first shows will be available on November 1, in over 100 countries at just $4.99 per month for the whole family, with new content added each month. The buyers of an iPhone, iPad or Mac will get a free year of streaming television service, the company said.
Tim Cook says, “We are so excited about Apple TV+, that when you buy an Apple [product] you’ll get a year-long membership for Apple TV+ free!”

Apple’s earning
On July 30, Apple released its fiscal 2019 third quarter (ended June 29): a quarterly revenue of $53.8 billion, an increase of 1% from the year-ago quarter, and quarterly earnings per diluted share of $2.18, down 7%.
International sales accounted for 59% of the quarter’s revenue. “This was our biggest June quarter ever — driven by all-time record revenue from Services, accelerating growth from Wearables, strong performance from iPad and Mac and significant improvement in iPhone trends,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “These results are promising across all our geographic segments, and we’re confident about what’s ahead. The balance of calendar 2019 will be an exciting period, with major launches on all of our platforms, new services and several new products.”
The invite for tonight’s Apple event, sent out to select media, shows the Apple logo made up of five different bright colours which allude to the old-school six-colour logo the brand donned years ago. Analysts, however, are speculating that the to-be-released iPhone 11 won’t live up to the hype, not attracting the buyers for which Apple has been striving.
On March 25, 2019 Apple held a special event to announce the launch of new Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade.
