Sweden’s Armand Duplentis breaks Serje Bubka’s record of 6.14m jump at diamond league outdoor event in Rome

Duplentis set the world record of indoor events by jumping 6.18 metres high in Glasgow in February this year

Sweden’s Armand Duplantis broke the 26-year-old world record of Ukraine’s Serje Bubka in the outdoor event of the pole vault. He jumped 6.15 metres (20 feet and 2 inches) high in the second attempt at the Diamond League in Rome. Bubka set the world record by jumping 6.14 metres high in Italy in 1994. Bubka had broken a total of 35 world records (18 outdoors and 17 indoor) in his career.

The name of armand is already the world record of indoor events. He jumped 6.18 metres (20 feet and 3 1/4 inches) high in Glasgow in February this year. With this success, duplentis is very happy.
