New Delhi: Investing in Your Atal Pension Yojana may be affected. During lockdown, money has not been deducted for the scheme over the past few months. But now the central government has asked people to regularize their accounts before September 30 to continue the scheme. If not, subscribers may be fined. In fact, in view of the crisis of the corona epidemic, the central government had suspended the Auto Debit facility in Atal Pension Yojana till June 2020 to provide relief to the people. So that people have money to run their home in their hands. The auto-debit facility was then resumed from July 1, and subscribers were given time till September 30. In which they can repay their outstanding contributions and also regularize their APY account to avoid penalty.

These subscribers need not be afraid
Understand what you need to be home with this government decree. In fact, the auto debit facility in Atal Pension Yojana was suspended in April, but it did not come into effect until mid-April. This means that most subscribers may have made their April contribution. They don’t need to be disturbed. Secondly, if the subscriber pays in his APY on a quarterly or half-yearly basis, and the payment has been auto-debited in April, such subscribers need not be afraid. They will neither have to fill the penalty nor need to regularize the APY account. The auto debit facility for such subscribers will be automatically launched for the next quarter i.e. July to September (July-September). Whether the subscriber’s payment is truncated, they can check in the account detail.

This will clear how long the subscriber’s instalment has been cut. Another way is to check mobile SMS alerts. If there is a message of instalment twice in July, understand that the second payment was outstanding and now it is deducted.
