According to the new guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), a customer of any bank will have to pay a maximum charge of Rs 21. Most banks in the country can do a maximum of 5 free transactions from ATMs in a month. This limit is only for one month.
Punjab National Bank ATM Charge
Punjab National Bank allows you five free transactions every month at its ATMs in metros and smaller cities. After this, customers will also have to pay a charge of Rs 10 for withdrawing money or changing the ATM PIN. PNB gives three free transactions in metro cities and five in non-metro cities at ATMs of other banks. After this, customers will have to pay Rs 21 for withdrawing money and Rs 9 for GST and other transactions and GST.
State Bank of India (SBI ATM Charge)
State Bank of India (SBI) offers 5 free transactions at its ATMs for accounts with a balance above Rs 25,000. This includes both financial and non-financial. Transactions above this limit will attract a charge of Rs 10. Whereas, withdrawing money from SBI ATMs from ATM cards of other banks will cost Rs 20 plus GST per transaction.
ICICI Bank ATM Charge
ICICI Bank gives 3 free transactions every month to its ATM holders. Beyond the limit, ICICI Bank ATMs will charge Rs 8.5 for every non-financial transaction and Rs 21 for every financial transaction at ICICI Bank ATMs.
HDFC Bank ATM Charge
5 free transactions per month at HDFC Bank ATMs. After the limit, ATMs will be charged Rs 8.5 for every non-financial transaction and Rs 21 for every financial financial transaction.
