Punjab National Bank will charge Rs 10 along with GST on the failed transaction. That is, if the minimum balance is not maintained in your account and you insert the card to check the balance in the ATM, then you will have to pay a penalty charge of Rs 10 with GST. On the other hand, if you have minimum balance in your account but due to some technical problem you could not withdraw money and the transaction has failed, then you can complain about penalty.

If you complain about the failed transaction in the bank, then the bank will return your money within 3 to 7 days of receiving the complaint. On the other hand, if your money does not come back in 30 days, then the bank will give you a compensation of Rs 100 per day.
