It is being claimed in this viral message that for withdrawing money from ATM more than four times, you will have to pay Rs 150 as tax and Rs 23 as service charge. This means that you will have to pay a total of Rs 173 as charge. It has been told in this message that banks have implemented this rule from June 1.

PIB FactCheck, an organization to find out the truth of such fake messages on behalf of the government, investigated this viral message and found that this message is completely fake. No such order has been given by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) or any other bank, nor has there been any change in the rules for withdrawing cash from ATMs.

What is the rule
