Account holders can withdraw cash from the ATM of any bank, but the thing to keep in mind is that for this also different banks have fixed the limit of free transactions from the ATM of any other bank.

How much charge will have to be paid for cash withdrawal from ATM?

In June 2022, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI new rules) had ordered the banks that they can charge Rs 21 per transaction from the customers in addition to the monthly fee of the ATM card. It is worth noting that the first five transactions from the ATM of their bank are absolutely free for the customers. At the same time, a limit of three transactions has been fixed for other banks in metro cities. At the same time, this limit is five withdrawals in non-metro cities. After doing more transactions than this, you will have to pay a maximum fee of Rs 21 per withdrawal. This rule has come into effect from January 1, 2022.

Know about SBI ATM withdrawal charge-

State Bank of India gives 5 free ATM transactions up to a monthly balance of Rs 25,000. On the other hand, for withdrawal more than this, you will have to pay Rs 10 per transaction plus GST. On the other hand, you will have to pay Rs 20 plus GST at ATMs of other banks. If your monthly balance is more than Rs 25,000, then you can withdraw cash from ATM as many times as you want for free.

Know about PNB ATM withdrawal charge-

PNB, the second largest public sector bank in the country, gives its customers the facility of 5 free ATM transactions in both metro and non-metro cities. After this, you will have to pay Rs 10 plus GST on cash withdrawal from PNB. On the other hand, you will have to pay Rs 21 plus GST in other banks.

Know about HDFC Bank withdrawal charges-

HDFC Bank, a big private sector bank, also gives its customers the facility of doing 5 ATM transactions in a month for free. Whereas in other banks in metro cities, this limit is 3 transactions. After this, you will have to pay Rs 21 per transaction and GST charges.

Know about ICICI Bank withdrawal charges-

Like other banks, ICICI Bank has also set a limit of 5 transactions from ICICI Bank ATMs and 3 transactions from ATMs of other banks. After this, customers will have to pay Rs 20 per withdrawal and Rs 8.50 for non-financial transactions.
