Employer Contribution Can Stop

According to the new rule of EPFO, linking of PF account with Aadhar card is mandatory for every account holder. This rule will be applicable from 1st September i.e. next month. Earlier it was being implemented from June 1, but now its deadline has increased. If your account is not linked with Aadhaar, the employer contribution coming to PF account can be stopped. You can link your account with Aadhaar by visiting the official website of EPFO. This is the way-

  • First you go to the EPFO ​​website. For that click on the link given below.
  • https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/
  • Now log in to the account with your UAN and Password.
  • Now click on the KYC option in the ‘Manage’ section.
  • Now the page that will open in front of you will see many documents to link with your EPF account.
  • Here select the Aadhar option and click on the service by typing your Aadhar number and your name on the Aadhar card.
  • After this the information given by you will be secure, your Aadhaar will be verified with the data of UIDAI.
  • Once your KYC documents are correct, your Aadhaar will be linked with your PF account.
  • You will get Verify written in front of your Aadhaar information.
