There is a good news for the people who want to visit the Ram Janmabhoomi temple built in Ayodhya. Soon this city is going to get the gift of new flights. Now eight new flights are about to start for Ayodhya.
Start of flights to these cities
The Civil Aviation Ministry gave information about these new flights to Ayodhya in an official statement on Tuesday. It was told in the statement that these eight new flights to Ayodhya will be launched on February 1. These flights will be for Ayodhya and Delhi, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Patna, Darbhanga, Mumbai and Bengaluru. This will improve the air connectivity of Ayodhya and the movement of pilgrims will be easier. These flights will be started by Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia.
Tourism increased in Ayodhya due to temple
This month, on 22 January, Ram Lala’s life has been consecrated in Ayodhya Ram temple and the temple has been opened for public darshan. Since then, a huge crowd of devotees is continuously gathering in Ayodhya. Crores of people are reaching Ayodhya to have darshan of Ram Lala. The temple has made Ayodhya important on the tourism map of India.
Airport inaugurated before temple
It was already expected that the completion of the temple would boost tourism in Ayodhya. Keeping this in mind, the government had already made preparations. Before the inauguration of the temple, Ayodhya has got the gift of a new airport and railway station. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had recently inaugurated the new airport built in Ayodhya, which has been named Maharishi Valmiki International Airport.
Ayodhya airport is so big
The first phase of the new international airport of Ayodhya has been prepared at a cost of more than Rs 1,450 crore. It has been prepared by the Airport Authority of India. The airport terminal building is built over 6,500 square meters and has the capacity to handle about 10 lakh passengers annually.
