Delhi-Ayodhya Vande Bharat Train: Operation of the new Anand Vihar-Ayodhya Vande Bharat Express started from January 4, 2024. The train was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 30, 2023. This new train will increase connectivity between the national capital and Ayodhya, especially when there has been a huge increase in the number of people visiting Ram Temple.
According to Railways, Anand Vihar-Ayodhya Vande Bharat Express will operate six days a week. According to the new timing, the train will leave from Anand Vihar Terminal at 6:10 am and reach Ayodhya Dham Junction at 2:30 pm.
Route and timing
- According to Indian Railways, the train will cover Kanpur Central and Lucknow’s Charbagh railway station, before reaching Ayodhya. The train will have stoppages at both Kanpur Central and Charbagh railway stations. The train will reach Kanpur Central at 11 am and Charbagh at 12:25 pm.
- In return, the train will leave from Ayodhya Dham Junction at 3:20 pm and reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 11:40 pm.

- From Ayodhya to Delhi, the general ticket prices for 22425 Vande Bharat Express are Rs 1570 for AC Chair Car (CC) and Rs 2915 for Executive Chair Car (EC).
- However, Tatkal ticket from Ayodhya to Delhi is Rs 1805 for AC Chair Car (CC) and Rs 3440 for Executive Chair Car (EC).
- From Delhi to Ayodhya, normal ticket prices for 22426 Vande Bharat Express are Rs 1625 for AC Chair Car (CC) and Rs 2965 for Executive Chair Car (EC).
- Tatkal ticket from Delhi to Ayodhya can be bought for Rs 1860 for AC Chair Car (CC) and Rs 3490 for Executive Chair Car (EC).
