Chandigarh. Haryana government has decided to extend the benefit of Ayushman Bharat scheme to all those families whose annual family income is less than Rs 1.80 lakh and who are not included in the Socio Economic Caste Census (SECC) data. Chief Minister Manohar Lal made this announcement while addressing the press conference. Home and Health Minister Anil Vij was also present on the occasion. The Chief Minister said that in the spirit of Antyodaya, it has been decided to give the benefit of Ayushman Bharat to the last rung persons.

The CM said that the process of registration of all such verified income families has been started. Three phases of income verification have already been done. Now the data of these verified families will be uploaded on the Ayushman Bharat Portal so that they can get their cards. The Chief Minister said that the Mukhyamantri Parivar Antyodaya Utthan Yojana has been started by the State Government with the aim of reaching the benefits to the last person. Under this, special Antyodaya Melas were organized in the first phase, in which about 90,000 eligible families have filled the forms, out of which 37512 applications have been approved for providing assistance. The second phase of these fairs will be organized from March 2 to 17, in which about one lakh families will be called. Apart from this, these fairs will continue in the next year also.

Government will reach out to 23,000 eligible pension beneficiaries

The Chief Minister said that according to the data available under Parivar Pehchan Patra, about 23000 people are eligible for old age pension, who did not apply for it due to some reason. So now the state government has decided to adopt a proactive approach to reach these eligible pension beneficiaries and will deliver the benefits of pension at their doorstep.

He said that the biggest advantage of implementing Parivar Pehchan Patra is that all such eligible beneficiaries have been identified through this data and now every effort will be made to ensure that the government ensures distribution of benefits due to them. Do it.
