Aadhar card is an important document for every citizen in India. Aadhar card is also made for children below the age of five years, which is called Bal Aadhar Card. However, separate rules have been set for the application for this.

Actually , the Unique Identification Authority of India , the issuing body of Aadhaar , has made some special changes in the Aadhaar card issuing for children. Parents of children can now apply for child Aadhar card by submitting the birth certificate or slip issued by that hospital.

Let us tell you , Bal Aadhar is issued for children below the age of five years. However , as a rule , give children under the age of five fingerprinting the retina of the eye and hand claw fingers will no longer needed. UIDAI has decided to do away with the requirement of biometrics for children below the age of five years. Now it will be needed only when the child turns five years old. At the same time , after this the child’s card will be like the normal Aadhar card.

These things will be needed for the application

1- You will need Passport , PAN Card , Voter ID , Driving License , NREGA Job Card , Ration Card during the application.

3- First of all go to the UIDAI website.

4- Here you have to select the option of Aadhar card registration and fill the information related to the child.

5- Enter the address , locality , state and submit the application.

6- Click on the Appointment option to schedule the registration

7- Make a child Aadhar card by going on the date issued.
