Five people, including Baba Ramdev, Acharya Balkrishna and Chairman of Nimes University, Jaipur, Dr. BS Tomar, who are caught in controversies by making Corona infection medicine “Coronil”, are not taking any name. After an FIR was registered in Jaipur’s Jyoti Nagar and Gandhi Nagar police stations, a public interest litigation has been filed in the Rajasthan High Court on Saturday demanding a ban on the promotion and sale of coronil drugs. This petition, filed by advocate SK Singh, is likely to be heard next week.
The petition filed in the High Court by SK Singh said that the rules have been ignored in the trial of coronil drug. There is also talk of not getting the government’s official permission before the trial. Therefore, the promotion and sale of the drug in Rajasthan should be completely banned until the formalities, including the license for coronil medicine, are completed. The trial was claimed, he has also been made a party to the petition. Apart from this, Ministry of AYUSH, ICMR, Patanjali Ayurved, State Government, Medical and Health Department have also been made parties.

Earlier on Friday, advocate Balram Jakhar filed a case against four others including Baba Ramdev at Jyoti Nagar police station in Jaipur. The complaint states that he misleadingly propagated coronil as a corona virus drug. In the FIR, yoga guru Baba Ramdev, Balakrishna, Patanjali scientist Anurag Varshney, Chairman of NIMS, Dr. Balbir Singh Tomar, Director Dr. Anurag Tomar have been accused. Earlier, Dr. Sanjeev Gupta filed a complaint in Gandhi Nagar Police Station, which has been converted into an FIR after investigation.
It is worth mentioning that the state medical minister Dr. Raghu Sharma has already said that if Coronil is sold in Rajasthan, Baba Ramdev will be in jail. On Sharma’s instructions, the medical department has sought an explanation from Nims University.
