On the third day of the Ballia firing, the main accused Dhirendra Pratap Singh is away from the grip of the police. The police has announced a reward of Rs 25 thousand on him and 6 other accused including Dhirendra.
Earlier, the main accused Dhirendra Pratap Singh himself released the video claiming that he did not shoot any bullet. At the same time, Dhirendra Singh had demanded that this entire matter should be properly investigated. Apart from SDO, CO, 10 policemen have also been suspended in this case.

Till Friday, two accused were arrested by the police while police raided several places to arrest the six accused including the main accused. ADG (Varanasi zone) Brij Bhushan and DIG (Azamgarh zone) Subhash Chandra Dubey also reached Durjanpur village on Friday morning to meet the victims. Meanwhile, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav also spoke to the deceased’s family members over the phone.

The officers assured to inform the government about the matter. DIG Subhash Chandra Dubey said that a dozen police teams have been formed to nab the accused. Their possible targets are being raided. He said that soon all the accused will be arrested. Late in the evening, the police arrested another killer, Narendra Pratap Singh.
