Bank Holidays in December 2021
It should be noted here that not all banks across the country will remain closed for 12 days as some of the holidays which are decided by the Reserve Bank of India i.e. RBI are regional. This means that for some days only banks will remain closed in some states but in other states all banking operations will be as usual.
- Banks will remain closed on December 3 at Fest of St. Francis Xavier in Panaji.
- Sunday will be a weekly holiday on 5th December.
- Banks will remain closed due to December 11 being the second Saturday of the month.
- There will be no work in banks on the weekly holiday of Sunday, December 12.
- Banks will remain closed in Shillong on December 18 on the death anniversary of Yu So So Tham.
- On Sunday, December 19, the business will be closed on the weekly holiday.
- Banks will remain closed in Aizawl on December 24 on Christmas.
- Banks will remain closed on December 25, except in Bengaluru and Bhubaneswar, on Christmas.
- Sunday is a weekly holiday on 26th December.
- Banks will remain closed in Aizawl on December 27 due to Christmas celebrations.
- Banks in Shillong on Yu Qiang Nongbah will remain closed on December 30.
- On December 31, there will be no business in the bank in Aizawl on New Year’s Evening.
