Prime Minister Jeevan Jyoti Insurance
Under the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), coverage is given for death due to any reason. Those between the age of 18 to 50 years can join this scheme. Joining before the age of 50 and paying the premium will cover the risk of your life till the age of 55 years.
Auto debit will be premium
Under this scheme of the government, you can get a life insurance cover of Rs 2 lakh on an annual payment of Rs 330 per year. You can register it by visiting the bank branch / BC point or post office. The premium in the plan is auto debited from your account.
Prime Minister’s Suraksha Bima Yojana
Under the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), coverage is given for death or disability due to an accident. You can join this scheme from the age of 18 to 70 years. Under this, there is a provision of Rs 2 lakh in case of accidental death and Rs 1 lakh in case of partial disability. The annual premium of this plan is Rs 12. In this way, the total premium of both is Rs 242.
