Let us tell you that bank unions have been demanding 5 working days for a long time. This demand had caught hold since the government has implemented the rule of 5 working days in the Life Insurance Corporation of India.
Will get two days off in a week- Finance Ministry can approve two days off in a week and five work in banks soon. The Finance Ministry has no objection to this demand of the employees.
The Indian Banking Association had sent a proposal to the government regarding this demand. According to the proposal, daily working time for bank employees will increase by 40 minutes.
But daily working hours will increase: Monday to Saturday bank employees will have to work from 9.45 am to 5.30 am. In such a situation, there will be an increase of 40 minutes in the work every day.
