New Delhi. South Indian Bank has changed the interest rates on its fixed deposit schemes. According to the official website of the bank, the new rates are applicable from 23 December 2021. These new rates are for domestic and non-residential external (NRE) term deposits. These changed interest rates will be applicable only on renewal of new deposits and maturity deposits.
FD interest rates for regular customers
After the latest revision, the bank is offering interest rates of 2.50%, 3.00% and 3.80% on deposits maturing in 7 days to 30 days, 31 days to 90 days and 91 days to 180 days. Banks to common people from today on deposits maturing in 181 days to 270 days, 271 days to less than 1 year, 1 year to less than 30 months and 30 months to less than 3 years 4.10%, 4.50%, 5.10% will give an interest rate of 5.35%.
On deposits maturing in less than 5 years, 5 years and above 5 years and up to 10 years in 3 years, the general public will get an interest rate of 5.50 percent, 5.65 percent and 5.50 percent respectively from today. The bank’s latest interest rates on fixed deposits below Rs 2 crore for regular customers are as follows-
