After the recent changes, Axis Bank will give 5.25 percent interest on FDs of 18 months to less than 2 years.

The bank will pay 5.40 percent interest on deposits for less than 30 months but more than two years. Axis Bank will also pay 5.40 percent interest on fixed deposits maturing in more than 3 years and less than 5 years. At the same time, 5.75 percent interest will be available on FD of 5 to 10 years. Senior citizens will get 2.5 percent to 6.50 interest on deposits maturing in 7 days to 10 years.

The bank has updated the interest rates on domestic FDs as well as NRI and FCNR (Foreign Currency Non Resident Account) deposits. The interest rate on NRI (Non-Residential External) deposits up to Rs 2 crore for one to two years will be 5.10-5.25 percent. Recently, State Bank of India (SBI), HDFC Bank, Bank of Baroda and Canara Bank also changed their FD rates.

Recently, Suryoday Small Finance Bank has also changed its FD interest rates. These changes have become effective from March 10, 2022. The bank is offering 7 percent return on FD deposit account for a period of three years. Senior citizens will also get an additional 0.50 percent interest on their FD in Suryoday Small Finance Bank. Now senior citizens will get 7.5 percent interest on the FD account for a period of three years.
