Bank Holiday Alert: The bank holiday list is prepared by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). In this list, the central bank tells on which day the banks of which city will be closed. Although the bank is closed every Sunday and second-fourth Saturday. But, apart from this, banks are also closed on the occasion of festivals, national holidays and regional festivals.
Even today banks are closed in many states of the country. Actually, a holiday has been announced in the bank on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad. Banks in these cities are closed
Today, there will be no work in the banks of Gujarat, Mizoram, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Manipur, Jammu, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, New Delhi, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand, i.e. there will be a holiday. Eid-e-Milad will also be celebrated on 17 September in many states. According to the RBI bank holiday list, banks in Sikkim and Chhattisgarh will remain closed on 17 September.

Banks will remain closed on this day in September
- Banks will remain closed on 18 September on the occasion of Pang-Lhabsol.
- Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi will be celebrated in Jammu, Srinagar on 20 September. There is a holiday in the bank here on this day.
- On 21 September, banks in Kerala will remain closed due to Sri Narayan Guru Samadhi Day.
- 22 September is Sunday. All banks will remain closed on this day due to weekly holiday.
- Maharaja Hari Singh Ji’s birthday will be celebrated on 23 September. Banks in Jammu, Srinagar will remain closed on this day.
- All banks will remain closed on 28th September due to fourth Saturday.
- 29th September is Sunday. All banks across the country are closed on this day.
These services will remain operational
Despite the bank being closed, customers can avail various services of the bank. Yes, ATM, net banking, online banking etc. services will work smoothly even on bank holiday.
