Reserve Bank of India has released the list of bank holidays in the month of March. These holidays include Sunday and Saturday holidays. Let’s see the complete list of holidays in the month of March:
March 1 – This day is the festival of Mahashivratri. Due to this, banks will remain closed on this day in many areas of the country like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Jharkhand etc.
March 3 – Banks will remain closed in Gangtok on this day due to the festival of Losar.
March 4 – On this day, banks will remain closed in Aizawl due to the festival of Chapchar Kut.
March 6- All banks will be closed due to this day being a Sunday.
March 12- Due to this day being the second Saturday of the month, all the banks across the country will remain closed.
March 13 – Due to being a Sunday, all banks across the country will remain closed.
March 17 – On this day, banks will be closed in many areas of the country on the occasion of Holika Dahan.
March 18- Due to the festival of Holi on this day, banks will remain closed in many areas across the country.
March 19- Banks will remain closed in Bhubaneswar, Patna and Imphal on this day due to Yaosang.
March 20 – Due to this day being a Sunday, all banks across the country will remain closed.
March 22 – Due to this day being ‘Bihar Day’, banks in Bihar will remain closed.
March 26- Due to this day being the fourth Saturday of the month, all the banks across the country will remain closed.
March 27 – Due to being a Sunday, all banks across the country will remain closed.
