On which occasion will the banks remain closed (November Bank Holiday List)
- Apart from weekly holidays, there are many festivals in November. At the same time, bank holidays have increased due to assembly elections. According to the bank holiday list released by RBI-
- On November 1, 2024, banks in Agartala, Belapur, Bengaluru, Dehradun, Gangtok, Imphal, Jammu, Mumbai, Nagpur, Shillong, Srinagar will remain closed due to Diwali Amavasya.
- On November 2, 2024, banks in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Dehradun, Gangtok, Jaipur, Kanpur, Mumbai, Nagpur, Lucknow will remain closed on the occasion of Bali Pratipada.
- On November 7, 2024, there will be no work in the banks of Kolkata, Patna, Ranchi on the occasion of Chhath festival.
- On November 8, 2024, banks in Patna, Ranchi, Shillong will remain closed due to Chhath festival.
- On November 12, 2024, all banks in Dehradun will remain closed on the occasion of Igas-Baghwal.
- On 15 November 2024, on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, banks in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Telangana, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Srinagar, Shimla will remain closed.
- On 18 November 2024, banks in Bangalore will remain closed due to Kanakadasa.
- On 23 November 2024, banks in Shillong will remain closed on the occasion of Seng Kutsnem.
Bank weekly holiday
All banks remain closed every Sunday and on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. Accordingly, in November, banks will remain closed on 3,10,17, 24 due to Sunday. At the same time, banks will remain closed on 9 (second Saturday) and 23 due to fourth Saturday.

Elections are going to be held in Maharashtra and Jharkhand this month. Elections will be held in both these states on 13 November and 20 November. Banks in these states will remain closed on the day of voting for the assembly elections.
