Bank Holidays Diwali 2022: The month of October is full of festivals (Bank Holiday in October), so if you have any bank work, then deal with it immediately. There are 14 days left in this month, out of which 9 days banks will be closed i.e. only 5 days banks will remain open. On a big festival like Diwali (Bank holidays on diwali), you can get money related work, so make arrangements in advance.

RBI issues list
The list of bank holidays is issued by the Reserve Bank of India, in which information about bank holidays of all cities is given. RBI releases the list of bank holidays at the beginning of the year, so that customers and employees do not face any kind of problem.

Bank Holiday List on Diwali

>> 18 October – Kati Bihu (Holiday in Guwahati)
>> 22 October – 4th Saturday
>> 23 October – Sunday
>> 24 October – Kali Puja / Diwali / Narak Chaturdashi) (Holiday all over the country except Gangtok, Hyderabad and Imphal)
>> 25 October – Lakshmi Puja/Diwali/Govardhan Puja (Holiday in Gangtok, Hyderabad, Imphal and Jaipur)
>> 26 October – Govardhan Puja/Vikram Samvat New Year’s Day/ Bhai Dooj/Diwali (Bali Pratipada)/Lakshmi Puja/Entrance Day (Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bengaluru, Dehradun, Gagtak, Jammu, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Shimla, Srinagar will be a holiday
>> 27 October – Bhai Dooj / Chitragupta Jayanti / Lakshmi Puja / Deepawali / Ningol Chakkuba (Holiday at Gangtok, Imphal, Kanpur, Lucknow)
>>30 October – Sunday
>> 31st October – Birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel / Surya Shashthi Dala Chhath (morning Arghya) / Chhath Puja (Holiday in Ahmedabad, Ranchi and Patna)
