Bank Holiday on Holi 2025: The month of March is going on and the festival of Holi is very near. Holika Dahan is on March 13 and Dhulandi i.e. Holi of colors is on March 14. Where will there be a holiday on 13 and 14 March
According to RBI’s bank holiday calendar, Holika Dahan and Attukal Pongala festival will be celebrated on Thursday, March 13. Banks will remain closed in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Kerala on this occasion. Banks will remain open in all other places like Delhi-Mumbai etc. Dhulandi i.e. Holi of colors will be played on Friday, March 14. On this occasion, there will be a holiday in banks across the country except Karnataka, Odisha, Manipur, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Kerala, Nagaland.
There will be a holiday on March 15 in these places
There are some states where Holi festival will be celebrated on March 15. In such a situation, there will be a holiday in banks on Saturday, March 15. Banks will remain closed on this day in Tripura, Odisha, Manipur and Bihar. However, in the rest of the states of the country, work will be done in banks on March 15 due to it being the third Saturday. Banks across the country will remain closed on March 16 due to it being Sunday.
These dates will be closed after 16th
- 22 March is Bihar Day. Banks will not work in Bihar on this day.
- Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion of Shab-e-Qadr on 27 March.
- Banks will also remain closed in Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion of Jumat-ul-Vida on 28 March.
- On the occasion of Ramzan-Eid (Eid-ul-Fitr) on 31 March, banks across the country will remain closed except Mizoram and Himachal Pradesh.
- Apart from this, banks will remain closed across the country on 22 March being the fourth Saturday, 23 and 30 March being Sundays.
