Bank Holiday on Eid al-Adha 2024: The festival of Bakrid i.e. Eid al-Adha (Eid al-Adha 2024) will be celebrated across the country on Monday 17 June 2024. Due to this, banks are going to remain closed in many states of the country. In such a situation, after Sunday’s holiday, they are going to remain closed on Monday as well. For the convenience of the customers, the Reserve Bank of India releases the list of holidays before the beginning of the month. With this, customers can plan their work by looking at the list of bank holidays. On the occasion of Eid al-Adha on Monday, June 17, 2024, banks are going to remain closed in most parts of the country like Agartala, Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jaipur, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kochi, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Nagpur, Panaji, Raipur, Patna, Shillong, Shimla, Srinagar and Trivandrum.

At the same time, due to Eid al-Adha i.e. Bakrid, there will be a holiday in the banks in Jammu and Srinagar of the country on 18 June 2024.
