Banks will remain closed on February 3

All banks will remain closed on Monday, February 3, on the occasion of Saraswati Puja in Agartala. This festival is dedicated to the worship of Maa Saraswati, the goddess of learning and knowledge, which is celebrated with devotion and gaiety throughout the country including Tripura. Banks will remain closed in Tripura. Otherwise, banks will remain open in all states. Banks remain closed on all national and local festivals, anniversaries, Sundays, second Saturdays and fourth Saturdays of every month. All bank branches remain open on first, third and fifth Saturdays. Now in the month of February, banks will remain closed for 14 days.

  • Monday, February 3: Banks will remain closed on the occasion of Saraswati Puja in Agartala.
  • Tuesday, February 11: Banks will remain closed in Chennai on the occasion of Thaipusam.
  • Wednesday, February 12: Banks will remain closed on Sant Ravidas Jayanti in Shimla.
  • Saturday, February 15: Banks will remain closed on the occasion of Loi-Ngai-Ni in Imphal.
  • Wednesday, February 19: Banks will be closed in Belapur, Mumbai, and Nagpur on the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti.
  • Thursday, February 20: Banks will remain closed in Aizawl and Itanagar on the occasion of State Day.
  • Wednesday, February 26: Banks will be closed on the occasion of Mahashivratri in Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Bengaluru, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kochi, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla, Srinagar and Thiruvananthapuram.

Bank weekend holidays (Saturday and Sunday)

  • Sunday, February 2: Weekly holiday.
  • Saturday-Sunday, 8th and 9th February : Second Saturday and weekly holiday.
  • Sunday, February 16: Weekly holiday.
  • Saturday-Sunday, 22nd and 23rd February : Fourth Saturday and weekly holiday.
