New Delhi: If you are planning to settle the banking related work, then first definitely read this news. Actually, according to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks will be closed in many cities for the next 4 days. In the meantime, you may have to face inconvenience. However, nowadays almost all the work related to the bank is done through Internet Banking. Still, sometimes we need to go to the nearest branch of our bank for some important work. In such a situation, before going to the bank, it is important to know on which dates there is a bank holiday (Bank Holidays in September 2021) ie banks will be closed.

Let us tell you that like every month, according to the holidays given by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks will be closed on some special occasions in the month of September. So let’s know on which day and in which zone the banks will be closed…

Different rules for all states

Let us tell you that in the list of holidays given on RBI’s website (Bank Holidays List September 2021) there are some such holidays which are effective at the local state level only. This holiday will not remain in all the states because some festivals or festivals are not celebrated simultaneously in the whole country.

This day will be a holiday

This week, on the occasion of Karma Puja on 17th September i.e. Friday, the work in the banks of Ranchi will be closed. Whereas banks across the country will remain closed due to Sunday on 19 September. On September 20, Indrajatra will have a holiday in Gangtok’s banks. On September 21, the banks of Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram will observe a holiday on Sree Narayana Guru Samadhi Day.


Banks will be closed for three consecutive days

19 September – Sunday (weekly holiday)
20 September – Indrajatra (Gangtok)
21 September – Sree Narayana Guru Samadhi Day (Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram)
Apart from this, in the last week of this month, September 25 is the fourth Saturday of the month, due to which banks across the country will remain closed. Whereas all banks will be closed on 26 September due to Sunday holiday.
