Bank Holidays: Big news! Banks will remain closed for 13 days, not 11 in the month of December, know list here

Bank Holidays In December 2021: In the month of December, banks are going to be closed for 13 days instead of 11 days. Actually, banks are closed for 11 days in different states due to festivals.



 

At the same time, the Bank Association has also announced a bank strike. Bank employees have announced a two-day strike on December 16 and 17. United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) is opposing the privatization of banks and for this protest they are going on a two-day strike. December 3 – Friday – Banks will remain closed in Panaji on account of the Feast of St. Francis Xavier.

December 5 – Sunday – Due to Sunday, banks will be closed across the country.

December 11 – Saturday – Banks are closed on second Saturday.

12 December – Sunday – Due to Sunday, banks will be closed all over the country.

16 December – Thursday – Bank strike

17 December – Friday – Bank strike

December 18 – Saturday – Banks will not work on the occasion of death anniversary of U Soso Tham in Shillong.

19 December – Sunday – Due to Sunday, banks will be closed across the country.

December 24 – Friday – Banks will remain closed in Aizawl and Shillong on Christmas Eve.

December 25 – Saturday – In most states of the country, banks will not work due to Christmas.

26 December – Sunday – Due to Sunday, banks will be closed all over the country.

December 30 – Thursday – Banks will not work on the occasion of Yu Qiang Nangba in Shillong.

December 31 – Friday – Aizawl will have a bank holiday due to New Year’s Eve.
