Public holiday in UP on 22 January
In view of the Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha ceremony in Ayodhya, many states have declared January 22 as a holiday. In Uttar Pradesh also, January 22 has been declared a public holiday i.e. government holiday. A circular has been issued by the government in this regard. Meanwhile, news is coming out that there will be bank holidays in Uttar Pradesh on January 22.
If banks remain closed on 22 January i.e. Monday, then banks are going to function only for two days in Uttar Pradesh next week. Banks are going to remain closed across the country on 21st January due to Sunday. There will be a bank holiday on 22 January due to Ram Mandir celebrations. After that, there will be normal functioning in banks on Tuesday, January 23 and Wednesday, January 24.
Four consecutive days holidays
There will be a bank holiday on Thursday, January 25, on the occasion of the birthday of Hazrat Mohammad Ali. After that, banks will remain closed the next day i.e. Friday, 26 January on the occasion of Republic Day. 27th January is the fourth Saturday of the month and after that 28th January is Sunday. If seen this way, banks are going to remain closed for four consecutive days from January 25 to January 28. During the next eight days from January 21, banks will be open only for 2 days and there will be holidays for 6 days.
