The states where banks will remain closed on April 14 include Tripura, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Goa, Jharkhand, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Chandigarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Rajasthan, Telangana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Assam. Thus banks will remain open in Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland, New Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Meghalaya and Himachal Pradesh.

Banks will remain closed on April 15 on account of Bengali New Year Day/Himachal Day/Bohag Bihu. The cities where banks will remain closed on April 15 include Agartala, Guwahati, Itanagar, Kolkata and Shimla.
April 18 (Friday) – Good Friday is observed as a public holiday in many parts of India. On this day, banks will remain closed in all states and union territories including Delhi, Maharashtra, West Bengal.
