RBI has ordered to keep all private and government banks closed on this day. RBI releases the list of holidays on its website. In this the holidays are classified into three categories.

These three categories are Negotiable Instruments Act, Negotiable Instruments Act and Real Time Gross Settlement Holiday and the third one is Real Time Gross Settlement Holiday. You cannot complete any work by going to the bank on holidays. However, you will be able to take advantage of the bank’s ATM and online services on that day as well. Most of the banking services are available online these days.

Banks will remain closed tomorrow in many big cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, Dehradun, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Kanpur, Lucknow, Nagpur, Patna, Ranchi. On the other hand, banks will remain open tomorrow in Panaji, Raipur, Shillong, Srinagar and Thiruvananthapuram and work will also continue there. This will be the last festive bank holiday of this financial year.

How many days banks will remain closed in April

The new financial year will start next month. There will be a total of 15 bank holidays including weekly holidays in April. This includes bank holidays of different states. All the banks will remain closed on the occasion of the beginning of the new financial year on the 1st of April. After this, banks will remain closed on 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 18, 21, 22, 23 and 29 April. You can visit the nearest branch of your bank to know that on which days in April they will be closed.

The stock market will also remain closed

Tomorrow investors will not be able to buy and sell in the stock market. The stock market will also be closed on the occasion of Ram Navami. There are weekly holidays for the stock market. Apart from this, the market is also kept closed on the occasions of big festivals. Now on Friday the markets will open at 9.15 am.
