Bank Holidays December 2024: Next month, 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 December are Sundays, due to which all the banks in the country will remain closed. Apart from this, there will be a second Saturday holiday on 14 December and fourth Saturday holiday on 28 December. Along with this, all the banks in the country will remain closed on 25 December on the occasion of Christmas.
Bank Holidays December 2024: Banks are going to have long holidays in the next month i.e. December. With weekly off in different states, banks will have a total of 17 days holiday. There are 5 Sundays in December, 2024, apart from this there will be 2 Saturdays off as well. In this way, banks will have a total of 7 days weekly off in December. Apart from this, there will be many holidays of Christmas and New Year’s Eve in many states. In such a situation, if you have any important work in December, then try to finish the work as soon as possible.
Banks will remain closed for 4 consecutive days from 24th to 27th December in Nagaland

Reserve Bank decides bank holidays
Let us tell you that in these states, apart from weekly off, banks will remain closed for local festivals. Reserve Bank of India decides holidays keeping in mind the local festivals in all the states of the country. Apart from the Reserve Bank, no bank can decide the holiday as per its own. Only the Reserve Bank has the right to decide the bank holidays.
