The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) releases the list of holidays every month on its website. According to RBI, banks will remain closed for 14 days in August due to various reasons. In such a situation, you can plan your bank related work next month by gathering this information.
Rakshabandhan, Janmashtami and Independence Day this month
Big festivals like Rakshabandhan and Janmashtami are coming in August. Apart from this, Independence Day will also be celebrated on 15 August. In such a situation, you will have to do bank related work thoughtfully so that problems can be avoided. This will also not waste your time. Banks are going to remain closed across the country on Rakshabandhan, Janmashtami and Independence Day. Apart from this, banks will also remain closed across the country on 4 Sundays and 2 Saturdays. However, you can withdraw cash through ATM even on all these holidays. Apart from this, you can use UPI, net banking or mobile banking. All these services are available 24 hours.
